Hello,

You may decide whether to submit the second programming exercise after the exam. You do not have to notify me, simply submit it if you want.

Deadline for both programming exercises is the end of the first week of semester B (25/2 midnight).

I've updated the website with exercise solutions and other material.

For further material you can find exercises from last year by browsing the moodle to "cse 2008/09" -> Autumn -> PMAI.
For older exercises try:

where YEAR is 2007, 2006, ...

1) The last recitation (17/1) will be problem solving as a prepatation for the exam.

2) Submission of all theoretical problem sets ends on 24/1 (Sunday) on midnight so that on the 25/1 in the morning (one week before the exam) we can publish solutions.

3) Programming ex 2 is now elective and the percentage of the exam will increase (to 60%) if one chooses not to do it. The decision has to be made no later than 31/1 (a day before the exam). You need to notify by mail to pmai@cs.huji.ac.il

4) Submission of programming ex 2 no later than the first week of second semester 25/2 (Thursday of the first week) at midnight.

moodle for non-cs students

(This message is actually relevant only for those who won't get a notice about it by email).

In order to login to moodle first you need to have a CSE account.

You can open your account in any of the following ways:
- using command 'register' inside any CSE UNIX account
- logging in as user 'register' to any CSE Linux work station
- with help of Kobi, Ross building room 1a, floor -2

Once a CSE account is established you should be able to use the "Enrol me in this course" link in moodle.
